I would love to see your results/dynos on this!

Thanks

Pat
Our Flash & Go's will integrate perfectly with Jackson's new release of the high boost pulley for their kits. We don't have dyno charts on this, but expect around a 15-20whp increase. I would not recommend this on 91 octane, but on 93 or better it should be okay.

Sincerely,

Zach

Absolutely, in fact we already have a Flash & Go available for the Edelbrock kit.

Is there a need to upgrade the MAP sensor? I believe the kit already comes with one.

@sales@delicioustuning.com
In regards to the updates to the latest 16.2 tunes, we have discovered what may be a few bugs in the latest version of RaceROM. We are waiting on confirmation and a fix from EcuTek for this, since our current 16.2 file is based on this patch. As such, all free updates have been placed on hold until this can be addressed. We are working our best to find a reliable solution in the event that a patch without these bugs is not released by EcuTek in a timely manner.

Sincerely,

Zach

If the kit comes with an upgraded map sensor, you may use the sensor provided in the kit. I believe Edelbrock's CARB tune is pure Speed Density, and as such will have an appropriately sized sensor for our tunes from the get go.

Zach

OK Thanks. That is a shame about needing the 93 octane. It is around in MN but not readily available everywhere.

I understand, however that stipulation is straight from Jackson Racing. They would not say it if they did not believe your engine was seriously at risk with the high boost pulley on 91. The gas just isn't good enough.

I don't need CARB and 93 is readily available here. What benefit would your tune provide over the Edelbrock Tune?

And the worst part about it is that 91 and 93 octane are the same price

Being that I haven't seen a single kit in person yet with the CARB tune, I can't say. Nor have we had it on the dyno quite yet. Typically, our tunes make a bit more power over CARB tunes at the very least. It's all speculation until we have someone dyno/drive the CARB tune and then ours.

Sincerely,

Zach

I just bought an AEM failsafe for my build. Ive been reading up on what system to retard with the failsafe feature. Do these tunes have built in fail safes? (I already searched and re-read the whole thread).

From the perspective of the tuner, I'm interested in your opinion on how you would integrate a failsafe unit like this one in conjunction with your tune.

TIA

I'm interested to see if you get a reply and if they do reply...when. I've sent multiple PM's to them with no response. The first message on 8/19, then on 8/24, then this morning. Nothing. I can understand that things happen and it can get busy but I have a buddy on here that sent them a message this morning and got a reply in 20 mins.

The tunes have their own built in "fail safes" just like OEM. You would not be wiring in the AEM as a fail safe device, it would be just a gauge and not a "fail safe".

If you are not getting a response, then your message is not going through. Maybe try email or a phone call. Zach has been in the office working every day and is there today as well.
