I gotcha. I was thinking people were tuning with the spacer. no doubt then I'd get a tune with this thing. I just want to make sure I got it right before I drop close to a G on a header and a OFT.

I just got a cel 700 miles later. I am runner the O2 spacer and the code read that it was too lean. I think my sensor is too far with the extension so I'm going to take it off and try without it. It just sucks because you can't use cruise control once the check engine light is on. I'll be getting my car tuned soon and that will fix it.

so do the tunes like ECUTek or OFT just simply disable the o2 CEL and not trick the ECU to thinking it is in a ready state? meaning you won't be able to pass the OBD2 scan in a smog check (pretend the visual is not a problem)?

it disables it, but as i recall you are allowed to have 1 not ready state and still pass the odb2 check.

I have one quick question about the install, is a crow's foot essential to tighten some of the bolts? Or is it reachable with a normal tools?

Just got mine today and I didn't want to attempt the install after work without the correct tools and not be able to get one before stores closed.

As far as I remember, the center bolt of driver side(if I'm wrong, its the other side than LOL) was the only bolt you cannot reach with normal tool. You need u-joint with semi-deep socket. Regular deep socket was too long to fit in.

The Canadians customers get the shipping so quickly. I think the 12pt sockets are going to be better because crow's foot isn't going to give you enough room to turn?

This header is dope, fit like a glove. Sounds subtle, setup with a Perrin 3" resonated and Berk resonated FP. Screams when you get on it.
