Yup bad idea, I got a ride in one from 8626 meet and now I gotta get one. Car is not the same with FI you'll hate driving home in a stock car lol
I'm gettin my JSRC either at end of this month or next month for sure.

New to the SoCal area, recently moved to the OC. These runs look fun. Hopefully I can make future ones. Got to check these roads out on my own when I have the time.

Drove ACH for the first time this morning. Couldn't make it at 7am but I got up there around 9. Great run took it all the way through traffic was light for me pretty much the whole way through. Hopefully next weekend I can make it up earlier and meet you guys there.

From today. Had blast thanks guys for the run. With only 2 hours of sleep I was ok and didn't fly off canyon lol. Good run.

Just out of curiosity, what's the cop situation like around these places? One thing I loved about Texas is that you will never have to worry about those problems

One of the main reasons why we go up there so early is to avoid the cops.

I've probably done +50 runs up there personally, and I've seen cops only a couple of times.

when i went to ACH this morning I saw one cop right when you get on to the 2 off the 210 maybe a 1/4 mile up. Pretty sure he was just checking for headlights. After that didnt see one the entire way through

I did ACH today around noon to 1pm from La Canada to Mt Wilson Observatory. No cops. not a lot of traffic too, not much bikers/cyclists, lots of motorcyclists, but theyre usually faster. but there was this one twat in a minivan who did not want to turnout after holding all 5 of us behind.

I also did GMR this morning too. lots of cyclists and even some downhill lugers i saw. definitely want to avoid that, especially on cloudy saturday mornings.
