SoCal Canyon Run Thread

Thought it would be a good thread to have for us. Just post here if anyone is planning for a nice drive.

Post When/Where/Route maybe?

It can be spontaneous or planned one. All fine.

I usually do a run once every two weeks. It's almost always more than 100 miles in the canyon too. Usually up in Angeles Crest Highway, sometimes Malibu canyons like Piuma/Latigo/Tuna.

Living off of Angeles Crest Highway in Wrightwood HWY-2 makes it a convenient drive to Flintridge (210 and 2 East) for me. I'm down for that drive on Sat or Sun anytime. During the week I can get to Flintridge by 9pm and cruise it (East) home at night. I always see Miata's, BRZ's, and a few Euro's at night on the turn outs during the week after 9pm. The weekends there are lots of bikes, and you are bound to see a CHP as well. I will post a pic if needed.

I usually go weekday nights or very early moring on Sunday. Both are pretty good in terms of general traffic and cops.
