Alright, so here's one final update. We have sourced a rubber bushing inboard pivot attachment that we can use for all you autocross guys that want this. Weight is still under 3 lbs with this piece on there.
![]() FT-86 SpeedFactory should be creating a thread shortly to see if we can get some people interested. The pricing is more than we anticipated so we want to see if we can gain enough interest up front before machining a large production run. A little back story on everything that went down since these were prototyped. The proprietary aluminum that only one company can make (due to patents) went up 70% from 2014-2015. This is a lot of cost added into the part when the LCA is as large as we made it. The initial machining quote on the LCA went up 3x, so I had to source a new vendor as well. Those are the two main driving factors. What we hope is that we can still bring this to market for a reasonable cost in your opinions and that will be the intent of the interest thread, to hear your thoughts. The price can't and won't be lowered though; it's very likely this will be a one time limited run if it happens at all. Before writing it off completely, please look at the interest thread, it is still not the most expensive unit on the market. For a United States designed and produced unit that has been backed by FEA analysis, test bed benchmarks, and on car testing, we think it's still a good deal and we hope you do too Regardless of what happens though, I learned a ton on this project, hope you guys did too |

Best looking stx legal lca I've seen.
I applaud your efforts to make something unique, a lca that is lighter than stock. Honestly your testing and dedication to making quality products would have set the lca apart from the rest in my book (plus being stx legal). I could care less if it's lighter than stock. I hope the unfortunate and unforseen costs don't price it out of reach.

They have a price on their website... $625. Which I remember being there before they said anything about material costs going up. So I expect more than that, but I hope not.

. We do not trust 6061-T6 aluminum as a LCA material in this light of a configuration so we will have to figure another route to take.Quote:

We have decided we are going to offer a warranty with these LCA's! We're still figuring out how to keep track of everything as this will be a limited production run, but it will be in excess of 1 year and cover any manufacturing/material defects.
Racing will fully be backed of course . Will post more when we finalize the warranty period and how to enforce it. The warranty will not cover wrecks or signs of obvious abuse.

Hey, I've been looking around at rear camber adjustment options and have your lower arms on my short list.
Short story, I track my car and still learning a hell of a lot, spinning and generally falling off the track. How robust will these arms be? I've not had a problem with the standard ones so assume I won't with yours. Also, what range of adjustment do your arms have? |

Camber tops out around 6-7 degrees of camber (calculated) but we don't recommend using them for this type of use. |
