I've never seen a Genesis on the track, actually. One guy I saw had a GTI and a twin, but he took the GTI to the track because it was modded to be faster. Really, sticky tires and a tune make the GTI much faster than a twin with sticky tires and a tune.

GTI feels quite good, actually. A FWD BMW.

Twins are better.

Focus ST is alright.

I swear I will never own a FWD again. My last 4 vehicles have been AWD or RWD and just cannot understand why any manufacture builds so called "Fun FWD" cars... FWD and Fun is an oxymoron!!!!

just because you havent had a fun fwd car doesnt mean they dont exist. its not an oxymoron. think about how silly you sound when you come to conclusions like that. my crx was more fun than my ls430. is fwd more fun than rwd? the 03 wrx was the most boring "sports car" ive ever driven. they are means to an end. that half logic can lead to any conclusion you want.

AWD seems a bit meh to me as far as fun goes. Pump up the HP, point, and accelerate. It's fast, it's easy, but is it interesting?

Yes understood I was in a rant ...agreed there are fun FWD cars but all in all RWD and AWD are just more fun for me. The funnest FWD car I owned was an Intergra Type R and to me it still does not have the fun factor of the BRZ/FRS which is similar performance wise. I should have clarified I meant a similar performance spec'd FWD vs RWD/AWD I will take the RWD/AWD options.

It's 'silly' to make a comparison between a CRX and an IS430.

yeah rants on the internet happen. i just think that a lot of the times fwd has a lot to offer. in your similar specced situation i imagine a fwd puts more of its power to the wheels, is lighter or cheaper (some combination of those virtues anyway).

Enjoy shopping your new car and don't wait or else you are loosing a good chance of true driving happiness.

Now that you mention it, I always catch people staring at my FRS often. Every once in a while someone asks me about it wanting to know more about it. 😏
