Going to replace the oem grill by this. Trying to find a way to mount it.

I am thinking to use zip tie & mounting base, as well as some epoxy to reinforce.

I realize that this grill mesh is kinda hard to bend, and this might be the biggest issue I am going to face because it will be hard to make it line up the curve of the bumper.

Any one has suggestion please let me know. Thanks, hah.

Grill mesh DIY done. All the mounting bases are enhanced by Loctite super glue.
Gonna paint the front frame to matte black today.

It looks much better than factory and better than the picture shows. I will take more high quality pictures after I install the supercharger kit. Also it is more functional. Fitness is better than I thought. I use my foot to push the grill from inside bumper when I tight the zip ties.

I think I am ready for my Vortech intercooler now. This grill will work better than factory one to block bugs and rocks. Since I am a ricer, I love the grill because it makes my future intercooler more obvious. It's a good way to show off.

Gonna drop the car off at EFI Logics this Saturday.

Can't wait.

Sweet grill!! I've been wanting to get rid of the stock grill ever since I bought the car. Thanks for the pictures on how you mounted it! Lets us know how well it hold up down the road.

I think it hold better than factory grill. Factory grill is just held by some clips. This is held by zip tie and mounting bases. Even though this grill might has more drag because of the smaller mesh design, it is still better held. Just make sure you use some super glue on the mounting bases.

I drove today over 85mph and no issue. And I try to push it by the same force to remove the factory grill, it doesnt move at all.

The only issue I can imagine is if you hit something on the road, for example a small animal, you might want to take off the bumper to fix it from the inside. Same thing for the factory grill. But for the factory one you only need to clip it back because it is not going to bend. It just come off directly. For this one it might bend so u need to reshape it or get a new one.

That's a customized hood I think. You can google "carbon stealth fr-s" for more information. In a youtube video you will see how they made this hood.

I have installed the one on the PCV. For the other one I will install it later after the Vortech Supercharger is installed. I did not installed the other one on a NA car because the hose length will be different from that on a FI car. So I dont want to install the oil catch on a NA car for a few weeks and then purchase new hoses to reconnect after the supercharger is installed.

I will upload pictures later for sure. Now my car is at EFI Logics, CT for a tuning. I will get it back within this week if I am lucky enough.

Here are two pictures that I took before when I was installing the one on PCV.

Will post some better pictures later after everything is done.

BTW they are one of the most high quality products on my car. Radium makes good stuffs.

Pictures are originally taken by EFI Logics.

I dropped the car in the shop at Aug. 22nd. Have not driven any stick car for more than a week. I feel kinda uncomfortable now.
