The problem is not if they make power the issue is to make them as cheap and knock them off the alloy of the metal is minimal nickle content and over usage of carbon. Making them hard, brittle, prone to cracking and having the ability to rust because the nickle content is so low.
Not to mention most of the welds a fused with no filler for rigidity, not back purged and those crack as well.

Very Valid Point.
Quality is an absolute concern. I haven't seen the one design before though... the one that is "UEL" where 2 runners from opposite ends are the same lengh, and different than the other 2... i would be curious to see what benefit - if any - that design has.
