I'd gladly post vids of revving and even some burnouts, but I am low-tech, and don't know how to post a video.

I'll do some research. I know how to send pics from my phone to other phones, vids I think work the same way so I think I could do that.

I have a friend I've asked to come over so I can get some vids and post them on youtube and her, but it hasn't happened yet.

Stand by.

I saw a Pantera in Edmonds, WA, such a stunning car... first time I pulled an illegal U turn only to check a car out since the time I saw a Diablo GT

You live in the wrong area. Hey, my childhood classmate opened a new distillery in your area, griffo distillery. Check it out.

I have to respectfully disagree, I live in THE best area in the world, plus, I'm about 15 minutes from Sears Point Raceway, where I do track days and such.

I'll check out your friend's distillery, sounds interesting. I won't do that in my Pantera though, no one else can drive the car. It's too specialized. First, it's a monster, second, you need to wear racing shoes because the footbox is so small that normal shoes render the car undriveable. One fat tennis shoe will cover all 3 pedals! lol

That doesn't make sense. It's not like there's a bell housing to clear.

Being mid-engined, the driver sits more forward, and the inner front fenderwells force the footbox to be very small. It tapers, and you actually sit a little crooked in the car.

All 3 pedals are also VERY close to each other. With my fat running shoes on, I can push all 3 pedals at once! lol.

Vids are hopefully coming soon!

I summoned help, and wednesday I'm hopefully getting vids I can post on youtube, which I can then link here.

I plan to do startup (bada$$ VROOM!), the idle is tame because of the injection, so it doesn't sound all crazy at idle, but if you saw the cam specs you'd be really surprised at how tame the idle is. It SHOULD be jumping all around at idle, but the injection apparently smooths out the idle.

I then plan to do a vid of just punching it from maybe 10mph, which results in instant burnout, same for 2nd gear.

Then maybe a little getting sideways in a parking lot, and for the cherry on top, I hope to get an in-car vid from a stop, up through the gears to redline in each gear, just to 4th though.

The car has the ZF gearbox in it (same box used in the old GT40), a close ratio racing 5 speed. Freeway cruising is normally not enjoyable because 5th isn't very tall. MY gearbox though, has had an extra tall 5th gear installed, so at 70 I'm at around 2500 rpm instead of 3500, which is still buzzing the monster V8 higher than today's cars.

My truck with overdrive runs at like 1200rpm at 75!

I can see from an image earlier in your thread how far forward the driver sits. Steering column looks like it's maybe a foot long.

I rode in my buddy's back in 98 but didn't remember those details.

Really looking forward to the vids.

I have an echocardiogram appointment at 10, just a follow up from my open heart surgery (everything is super great) and then around noon-1 I have plans to meet up with the person that's going to help me take the vids.

If things go well, I'll hopefully have vids posted up on youtube tonight!

People are flakes I've found in general.

Rarely do I find people that do exactly what they say, when they say they're going to do it.

The person who WAS to help me decided they didn't want to make 2 trips into town, and tried to fit the video session in with a job interview on Friday, didn't want to drive to do what she'd already agreed to do today, so I'm back to looking for someone to help me make these stupid short vids so I can post them on youtube.

The second girl who said she could help just now texted and said her boyfriend said no. I swear, Fu(king people agree to do sh!t and then flake out. They don't take into consideration I've arranged my day around this, sometimes it feels like a lack of respect, well, it IS actually. FLAKES, I don't like them!

I guess I'm the stupid one, I should know how to do this myself, but i still need another person to help with this project.
