What does the JDM top trim Toyota have that the BRZ Limited does not here?

Nice.

Yeah, those antennas always have problems. I don't think I've ever seen a car with a perfectly working antenna like that over 5 years old. And they cost several hundred to fix (according to my dealer).

- A Toyota badge
- Coloured interior(optional)
- Different style of HIDs
- A neutral tuned suspension instead of the BRZ's understeer tuned suspension
- Black dash instead of that god awful silver dash
- Different front bumper, hate the BRZ's
- Toyota style white tach instead of the plain black on the Subaru.
- A good dealership within a 2 hour driving radius. Seriously, the only Subaru dealership in that radius here is horrible.
- 86 Legacy and logo. (Suby hides that for obvious reasons.)
- A Toyota badge.

Settle down gents. FWIW, blu_ isn't trolling in my opinion so I'm not deleting posts yet.

Also, the high spec GT86 gets the black tach like the BRZ Limited. The rest of that stuff is subjective and functionally not any different from the BRZ Limited.

I noticed the red stitching around the door speakers. That's just crappy plastic in my brz. I am wondering if its "leather" on the high spec'd GT86. I notice in my car the piece is removable from the rest of the door.

Similar situation with the panels on the outside (facing away) from the HVAC/NAV part of the center console.

I guess I am just wondering if these are upgradable interior pieces. They certainly look nicer than mine.

JDM/EUDM/maybe others get the padded leather speaker cover area and knee pads (on the sides of the center console verticle area where the HVAC controls are).

-Seats? Theres 3 different seat materials i think. Fuzzy cloth, 'tough' looking cloth, leather/alcantara. The FRS gets the fuzzy cloth (RC/G). BRZ premium has the 'tough' cloth (GT?) and the leather/alcantara is in the BRZ limited (GT-Limited).

-door trim? I think its all the same. They're the red stitched leather (leatherette?) found on the spots being most touched (like the door sill, armrest, etc). I dont think they're all black on the FRS.

I think if you were to compare the FRS with the Japanese 86, the FRS is a G with the red accents from the GT.
I agree that the FR-S interior is a mix of RC/G but I wouldn't be surprised if the FR-S followed a different assembly line than the G/GT. The target is lower cost and the NHTSA and DOT have specific laws compared to the rest of the world.

Actually, it does have a white tach: http://toyota.jp/86/001_p_001/grade/grade1/index.html It may be optional.

When talking about one's personal preference it still matters. Also the suspension changes how it handles. I believe my concern for the local Subaru dealer is also valid. Previously confirmed by Rob_g on the 1st page of this thread, complete with their notice of hearing and list of offenses.

As for blu_, he asked what the differences were, I gave them. He disregarded them and/or ignored them and claimed them to be nothing. If that is not trying to incite an enraged response, aka trolling, then I'm not sure what he was trying to get at there. His next response wasn't much better.

Edit: Now he continues on with some differences that are no different than what I listed, purely aesthetic. Interesting how he changes his tone the second a Mod shows up.
