Picked mine up on the 31st and already half way to through break-in. Loving it so far, but it took about 3 days to get the proper seating position.

First mod was a Recaro ProRide, second mod was xpel for the full front-end, and third mod is the JDM armrest extension. Rally Armors and JDM rear fog is next.

There is going to be nobody left on here soon but me and a bunch of teenagers and other old guys. Damn you middle ones that have practical needs that you have to meet.

Yeah my first mods were Perrin shifter stop, Perrin brass bushing, and red tail light overlays. I think after I have broken it in I will look into an access port.

Eventually hope to have the following:

STI lip kit
Cobb accessport
Depot racing j pipe
PRL intake
TGV Deletes
Pro Tune

.

Although I have given some thought to picking one up, I love my BRZ so much... can't see myself getting rid of it.

Nope! If I wanted to go that route I would have had an EvoX three years ago.

I have a plan and an end goal and it does not include having 4 doors ever again.
I have no need of "practical":

I was actually considering keeping it and driving both, but between the rusting front fender from a shoddy repair, all the dings in the passenger door, shoddy paint job on the front bumper from another body shop, engine knocking, weird rattling in the engine bay, and a dented hood from some kids a week before delivery of the WRX, I figured it was a good time to say goodbye. Not to mention all the bad luck before I even ordered a 2016.

I miss the seating position and handling, but it's really at about 80% of the twins. If the driver seat was an inch lower with a bit more bolstering, it'd be at about 90%.

yeah I had no interest in a wrx before this year, always loved the evo x however. That is a beautiful machine though, would love to have something like that.

Seating position is the hardest thing to get use to

All valid reasons.
But really any reason to change is valid anyway regardless of what they are.

This is the first MY I would ever have even considered a WRX/STi. I always found the old body styles butt ugly.

Yep Same here, but now that they essentially copied the EVO x look, I love them ha ha.

My brother is especially happy with his new WRX, but that is very much because his wife is preggo with their first child.

My wife and I are split on the kids decision ourselves, but I could very easily see myself heading down this same path because I want something more practical and slightly more comfortable for the long drives back home and buying tools/big items for home.

I agree with Tcoat though, this is the first WRX I actually like enough to consider buying.
