hmm, that's interesting. I generally hate craigslist, but it is worth checking out. I went there today and they were sealcoating their entire driveway it seemed. They foolishly locked a ton of cars inside their service area, and they would not even let me see them, never mind take the time to actually drive one. Just insane.

And then I was also talking about the WRX and mentioned taking a look at one, and the salesperson wouldn't even pretend to think about taking the keys and letting me get in one. The usual subaru bs nonsense that you see on way too many threads. I'd never go back if they didn't have a car I was interested in. Hey moron, you are selling $30k subaru's, not 6 figure supercars. This will always be my biggest complaint about subaru.

That is priced a little more reasonably. I so need to move down south.

Keep in mind that my thread was nearly 8 months ago when Series blue was half a year old, and still had new ones in stock. Prices are no where near the same right now IMO

I bought my Series.Blue for 26K OTD with 4500 miles on it. They were asking almost 28. Granted this one had many mods to it (coils, wheels, bbk, oft, ofh).

unfortunately they seem to be. Their seem to be a few across the country with around 4000 miles, almost wonder if they were the press fleet. The least expensive one I've seen is the one posted above here, and the most expensive are the two at the dealership sort of near me.

I'd think for used cars that are just as expensive as the brand new ones there would be negotiating room. We will just have to see. If not, I'll have to rethink what I am going to buy.

its actually more expensive if you plan on making payments. I bought my series blue for $29k at 1.9% interest rate. If you get one used for $25-28k with a 5-7% interest rate you'll be thousands over the cost of a new one. Might as well just buy a 2016 if thats the case

For what its worth, when a car this new goes up for sale. It is almost always sold out of auction from a fleet of rental cars. I don't know how you feel about buying a car that was used as a rental vehicle. But assuming that this car is manual (which i think all series blue are) whatever rental company that had this as part of their fleet probably had a hard time renting it out. The miles that it has is probably from the employees of the rental companies hooning and beating on the cars. And if was actually rented out, the people that would rent a car like this most likely abused it a bit as well. Good luck with your decision!

If you take a %5-%7 interest rate on anything today, you have mental health issues. Subaru and Toyota are offering .9% on brand new ones right now, so I would do that first if they tried to pull that crap. I just was approved at 2.49% from my local bank.

Yea, if you look up above @GreenMonster posted links that make it look like both cars had rental history of some sort. Just another thing to bring to the negotiation table. Every tool can help drive the price down.

Probably just leases. Rentals are usually cheap automatics, not limited edition manuals...
