So. Much. Want...

I think the largest issue for us on the wait list with little patience revolves around the fact that we are ingrained by an immediate satisfaction society. We are used to being able to instantly gratify our self want by purchasing an item we feel will fulfill the need or purpose we are yearning for.

We all feel the Twins could use a little boost for power (sometimes yes, sometimes i feel like its power balance is just right...), and we see the awesome and unconventional route Rob has taken that seems to improve the balance of agility and power these cars are revered for without making them super-turbo charged, super sonic racing beasts. The downside with wanting to be apart of this niche community is there are no Crawfords to fund large R&D. No Edlebrocks to expedite production. And honestly, i think this is a good thing.

We need to realize being in this small group means we are trying to be apart of an extremely experimental frontier and new type of FI (at least one that works). As a car enthusiast, the passion that Rob, Fenton, and others have put into this product makes it more exciting. There's no expediency for profit margins, no cheap limitations for hurried manufacturing. Doing this as a hobby from an enthusiast's soul makes this product better for everyone.

So i will have to wait, but all the while i am waiting, Rob is improving, refining, perfecting. So by the time my number is up i know the wait will have been worth it.

Thanks for this, this really is the truth.

When it comes down to it a year or so ago Rob could have just started pumping kits out as fast as he could and said "thats good enough". This is not the person he is, he is always trying to make it better, easier to install and more powerful.

The easier to install thing is huge, 80% of failures have came down to improper installation or shorting something out which burns something out down the line.

The new battery and controller system is almost to the point where you cant make a mistake. There is two batteries packaged nicely and 1 big wire connecting the controller.

Those who have patiently waited are getting a better system and he isn't even charging more for it. More power, more recharge, more reliability, more simplicity.... i love it.
