My salesman just emailed-me to say that the car is still at the port. It could be loaded any day now. Rail tranport between Vancouver and Montreal can take anywhere between 8 to 10 days. I should expect delivery after the 15th.

Mine is supposed to be "on rail" whatever that mean.... I'm guessing that whenCP start to roll again and the paperwork fuck up is behind us i will eventually see the car..... Hoping for next week... From your post i'm guessing that if they are loading car again, it mean that the user guide is corrected and they start to deliver car again..... Note: i'm an optimist

Although I'm a little preoccupied at the moment -- during last Friday's nasty storm a tree fell on my house. Not as bad as it sounds, but naturally I'm a little more concerned about getting that fixed up than worrying about the FR-S.

Vin Received shortly after that.
Paper work all done for payment.
Till this day i have yet to receive any cost interms of dealerside "upgrades"
until it's offical i'm being told that i'm being forced to pay for the unrequested Bespoke head unit, no idea what'll happen if i refuse it.
As per the branch manager @ the store i deal with states that my frs has landed in canada in somewhere in vancouver however it will take until mid june for me to receive said car. (eta was last given to me the weekend of the may 26th)

I'll just say it. Blast me all you want if you must. But If I see a FR-S on the streets before I get mine, I will be pissed.

Firstly, the Bespoke is not available in Canada, only the Premium.
The Premium is technically only selectable as a port option, not a dealer option. But it's still possible for them to install a Premium at the dealer if you receive the base stereo, they'll just have to figure out how to get the unit, record it properly and charge you for it.

If you placed an order in March and didn't request the Premium at that time they should not have added it, since the allocations would have been done after your order went through and should have been based on your request.
I think it's more likely your car would arrive with the base stereo. But the dealer should be able to tell if that option (port-installed Premium) is part of the order for your VIN.

I saw a Ultramarine one while I was filling up yesterday (in Laval, quebec immatriculation). I spoke to the guy it turns out it was for the press (although I didn't ask where the guy works). Anyway, he said he really like the car and the handling.

I also saw one on May 29 on the 720 (don't recall the color) but it was with an Ontario plate.

I have an Asphalt FR-S on order (deposit last week) and according to my dealer, I'm supposed to get it in June (altough I don't have a VIN, but I think I'll call my dealer back to make sure I get it.)

But anyway, you might see one before you get yours!

I placed my deposit on a BRZ at the Subaru dealership mid-May and had my order put through. I was third in line with 4 vehicles allocated to that dealership. I've been trying to get some more information on when the car is supposed to arrive but the status of the car in their system says "Pre Manifest"

What the hell does that mean?!

What is he frustrated about about? A car that had no set delivery date not meeting said unset delivery date? Laff.

I think it was more that the dealer had his car and at one point had taken his money but he wasn't allowed to take it home.
