Montreal ETAs

Ok, so my FR-S Asphalt is on order. My dealership told me I was the first one to buy an FR-S from them

Now, delivery ETA has been nothing short but vague. I was told that my car (asphalt, AT) was located, and already on the train. However, no cars will be delivered prior to the official june 1st launch. They gave me a tentative date for delivery (June 11th or 12th)

Fellow Montreal area buyers, what ETA dates were you given?

From what I was told in Quebec at my dealer mine's been on a train for a week now, so its a matter of days before being in Montreal and put on a truck! Dealer said june 1st was a realistic delivery date..fingers crossed! Need it soon to be a coolkid @ DMCC round 1

EDIT: Just got news, my FR-S will be in montreal's warehouse on 23rd, and from there it's 1 week from being at dealer in Quebec. He told me prep would not even take a day, so June 1st as a delivery date is really starting to be very realistic!!

I go for an update almost every week and the dealership has been kind enough to let me look at my car's status, a lot of cars appear as 'present at the compound' but I think that Scion is holding out until a unified launch event

Ugh. I was hoping that they would settle at the last moment. Here's hoping that Scion is using CN instead of CP.

Just talked to Mendes and our cars are in Toronto ( thankfully not stuck on a train). The manager is confident that I will have my car by Friday. All 4 of the FRS's he has on order should be in by Saturday. looks like you will make your June 3 event at Scotiabank place. Congrats.

Even better news! ;-)

Thanks very much for passing on the info, it's interesting that I'm getting better "service" from you than from the dealership. I heard about my VIN almost a week after you learned about yours, and I still haven't heard a peep about delivery this weekend.

Now to make an appointment to get the sticky tires installed before the 3rd.

Oh I'm crushed. I called my dealer to ask him if he had any update. Turns out my car is not at the Livingston car compound, but on the damn boat on it's way here.

ETA: end of june.

I am such a sad panda.
