Also great! I didn't know that I could just swap out the compressor for the stock intake and it would be like stock again. Such good info. Thanks so much again, can't wait 'till I have my hands on mine! Drifting isn't my main purpose. It is my daily but I will be taking it to some events here and there, so I didn't want to purchase the ESC if it was going to be a bad thing.

How about heating issues? I feel like if I'm going to be on the track for a longer period of time, wouldn't over-heating would become an issue? Any cooling solutions or suggestions?
No problem at all man.Glad you're enthused. I love it too.

Yep, you can just swap the compressor back to the stock intake, flash the ECU (if you're using an OFT for tuning, this takes about 3-5 minutes), and drive.

Remember, this is a street kit first that will work great for canyon carving, AutoX and Drag are probably ok too. Drift, untested, Track for limited sessions but more testing is needed. The newer controllers have improved heat tolerance. It all depends on how you're driving the car as to how much time you'll get on boost before hitting the heat limit. We've heard of people running 20 minute sessions at hot California tracks (WSIR IIRC) with ducting and a vented hood and being fine, so may factors can come into play. Adding additional cooling (ducts, fans, heat-pipes, waterblocks, etc.) are up to the individual depending on their needs.

Got it! Guess I'll have to dive into more testing when I get mine (which will be awhile haha). I'll do more research too. Thanks again so much dude, you've been a big help

I bought a second hand unit. After one week, the controller stopped working (no beeping after switching on/booting up). Rob is helping me resolve the issue.

Make your own AUX charger.

These work great...~20% quicker recharge....add eyelets to input/output and bolt directly from 12V car to 24V dump.

Rob.

Is it OK to add 2 AUX chargers (in parallel)?

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread

Bah can't believe I missed all the fun questions. But @DAEMANO answered them perfectly.

As for heating issues... I don't think we have had any issues since we began running the new controller. But I do have a vent running to my controller.

As for longevity of system... I believe I have been running the system longest (except for rob, Fenton, and bu tang) due too Canadian winters I may have the longest driving time.

In the three years (almost) I have owned the system I have gotten every upgrade possible, and this system has been absolutely rock solid.

In fact just today my first issue cropped up... My starter battery is bad. This is the new odyssey battery and is not at all related to the system. Most people would agree that this battery may in fact be better then the oem battery. Unfortunately due to a defect in the battery I now have to rma the battery.

So now I'm out driving my car for a couple days so I can rewire in my old power sonic starter battery until batterymart honors my warranty.

I got my ESC up and running tonight, woo-hoo, but only with the pedal switch so far. I'll be tackling the Procede install tomorrow. As far as pedal switch with AT it's geared too darned tall for boosting at full throttle. I'm doing 90 in seconds, and partial throttle isn't enough boost. I think it will be much more usable as a DD with the procede controller. I want to start adjusting the map for boost when I want it, and economy when I don't. Give me enough time and I will make the perfect OFT ESC tune and Procede mapping for the AT's. To answer your question, the Procede controller is probably more desirable in an AT than an MT.

Which Procede unit do you have? Do you have the old style as seen in Sojhinn's video or do you have the newer one (Rob and I both posted pics of the newer one a few weeks back)? Im asking because there seems to be two issues with installing the newer Procede: (1) the recent ESC kits don't have an audio jack to plug into the Procede audio jack port (2) the red (power) wire on the new Procede unit is too short to mount the Procede behind the glove box AND run the power wire to the fuse box. My guess is that since you got an ESC from another member you won't face issue 1, but I'd be very interested to hear how you handle issue 2 (assuming you have the newer Procede).

Wrong quess. I bought soaz's nearly new system. I'm blessed with issues 1, 2, and a 3rd issue because I'm already using the glovebox lighter socket for something else. I'll be using a needle and a voltmeter to determine the correct throttle switch wire, and I'll just extend the power wire by soldering and shrink-wrapping. I'm also installing an auxiliary charger to maintain the batteries and recharge them faster. I'm also a big fan of wayno's additions to OFT tunes, and plan on adding as many of them as apply to my ESC tune. I'm also planning on fabricating a mount for the ESC, so I can use a different intake, or even an FMIC with a rear-mounted turbo. Ambition is my middle name.

Procede

So you use the same ESC maps and the Procede has it's own maps?

The car has it map for the phantom (ecu tune). The Procede map reads the a couple sensors and activates boost depending on those readings.

My map is the one that modified the Procede. But I still use shivs map for my car.
