Hopefully final update: My wife found a gasket under the couch that looks like the missing one from the male attachment to the sandwich plate to the male AN- fitting. Somehow the vacuum missed it!

So, with the fittings lined with Teflon tape at both ends, and now both gaskets, no oil leaks!

The plugs for the sensors on the sandwich plate needed a ton of Teflon tape but they seem to be working fine as well!

I do recommend the CX kit as a bang for the buck product, but make sure you use a ton of Teflon tape.

FWIW - I dont use Teflon tape on engines any more at all. It is banned for anything other than water pipes.
Once you find a small piece of Teflon tape stuck down in an oil gallery leading to a failed main bearing, you might feel the same.

I use loctite 567 now for all things engine related.

That's why I used Permatex thread sealant first, but it failed. I always wrap the tape tight leaving the first two threads bare. The probability of a piece breaking loose is extremely slim. Thanks for the tip!
