Well we all know that the FRS is faster. I read it in a thread from 2010 so it must be true.

Its the BRZ's mustache. Not good for aero. Why do you think sprinters are all clean shaven?

I was already doing about 15 over the limit (so was the rest of the traffic) so I knew the guy had to be flying. Well the dude gets up beside me, slows down and paces me in the passing lane. I have cruise on so my speed doesn't waver one single MPH. He never even so much as glances in my direction and after about 30 seconds just down shifts shoots ahead until he has just enough room, cuts in front of me, brake checks me and continues driving slower that the rest of the lane is going.
I put up with this for about 5 minutes and finally said "screw this", went around him and pulled back into the lane ahead of him moving about 15 mph faster than he was. As soon as I hit cruise he was downshifting and passing me. Once again without even a head turn. The exact same scenario played out once more before he apparently got bored of my love of cruise control and not going to jail and he took off never to be seen again. Through the whole thing he never even appeared to know I was there and did not look in my direction even once.
Damned BRZ drivers!!!!!!

(More seriously. If you are on here Bruuuh trade for a freakn' Mustang and stop giving us a bad rep. That shit was stupid and did not impress me for one second)
Had a similar situation happen to me.

Rush hour traffic, but it is moving. Red civic decides to go into the HOV lane from behind me since it was moving faster. HOV lane starts to slow down in comparison to my lane and decides to cut me off even though there was no space. Had to slam on the brakes and decided to tell him to fuck off.

Then he goes bat shit crazy and starts brake checking and coming to complete stops in the middle of a high way. I switch over to slow lanes to avoid him. He decides to cross all 3 lanes in one motion to brake check me again in the slow lane. I once again switch lanes to avoid him. He again takes off cuts me off brake checks. Then comes to a full stop decides to rev his POS and do a burn out while driving off.

Wish I had a dash cam to record this ass hat. Also, wish fucken cops would actually do their job to protect civilians instead of setting up speed traps and such to raise funds for the county/state.

A few months ago my brother traded in his Fiat 500 Abarth for 2015 STI. Today I finally got a chance to go cruising with him in my FRS.

We decided to do a few pulls from 10 mph on a two lane highway on-ramp. To his and my surprise we were neck and neck all the way up to 60 (though 1st and 2nd gear). By the end of third gear the front of my car lined up with his rear doors.

Sti-Cobb stage 1 tune

Frs-OFH and stage 2 uel e85 tune.

We even swapped cars and had a few more goes with pretty much the same results. The fa20 did much better than I expected!

On my way to work, around 6:30am almost on a daily, I get tons of F150s and Silverados revving at me on the lights. Only one time I got a Camaro that really wanted to go at it but I wasn't aware (music was on blast) until the light went green and he peeled off the line.

Not sure why, but my "come race me bro" encounters are about 90% pick up trucks and only 10% cars.

Nice
Cobb stage 1 puts them at like 250-260 at the wheels.

My first real "come race me bro" encounter, that does not entail a civic revving it's engine at me, came a couple of hours ago: I was driving down the highway on the furthest right lane (4 lane highway). A 350z spotted me and moved from the HOV lane all the way to the lane beside me. I slowed down to 50mph and he did too. He then started to pace me and I already knew what he was trying to do.

I looked his way with a smile and he rolled down his window. I then shook my head and gave a friendly wave and he returned a look of disappointment then a smile. After about 10 more seconds, he took off and shot down the highway.

At least it was a calm encounter and not one where it could've became dangerous - brake checking, continued pacing, tailgating, etc.

I always enjoy hearing when the encounter is with two reasonable people. That break checking and pacing stuff is ridiculous. It's so unnecessary.
