Gotta love twisty roads = no tailgaters. Don't like straight roads....
Well said !

Just yesterday a honda odissey was tailgating me when I came up to 2 curves in a row in a "S". He had to drop back some in the 1st curve but floored it to come back at me before the next curve only to end up totally in the other lane with tires squealing. He was lucky nobody was coming in the opposite direction (blind turn).

Yesterday I had 2 people show me how fast their car is.

1: Cruising on the parkway in light traffic, I had a Mazdaspeed 3 behind me, it looked 100% stock. He was behind me for a while then finally a passing lane opened so he was able to pass and he took the opportunity to show me how fast he could accelerate...only to slow down once he got 50 feet in front of me to again cruise at normal speed.

2: Later that day I see a lowered 90's Civic hatch on an on-ramp coming onto the parkway as I was passing the on-ramp going about 75 mph. I made a bet with myself that he would do a ricer flyby. After about 30 seconds, sure enough I see him flying up in my rear-view and he went just enough to get maybe a car length in front of me, only to slam on his brakes and then do a 2-lane lane change to exit the parkway. He felt like he had to show me his car before getting off of the parkway.

On my way back to work from lunch, a guy on a motorcycle did a uturn and tailed me. I didn't think much of it until I heard him high rev a few times before flying past me. He then slowed down when he realized I wasn't giving chase. Not the first time someone on a bike tried to race me...

Had some mustangs, lexus's and evos tail gate me for awhile on the freeway (seperate occasion) but as soon as i take my exit (which is really curvy) from 75mph 6th => 5th => 4th 3rd *vroom vroom* going on the exit at 50mph. The look on their faces when they realize my brake lights never went off haha. *bye bye*

Mazda speeds are either driven by people who know what they are and are not douches at all, or kids who's parents dont know what a mazda speed is and didnt want to buy their kid a mustang for their first car.

there is a lowered EG hatch at my college driven by a typical ricer boy, fart can, looked like a tinfoil roll cage, and for some reason (only 1) bride seat (probably worth more than his coilovers and car combined) with whiplash guards so large it looks like those horse flaps that carriages put over the horses face so it looks forward. Couldn't even see his head through my tears of enjoyment and laughter

Yesterday, I had a Celica see me have some fun around a corner and presume that I would continue driving aggressively, but, I set my cruise for the usual 10 kph over. He was right on my butt on the 2 lane road. Eventually, he had enough and laughably passed me in his plane GT (and not even a GT-S). . He was reving the nuts off it, but, only resulted in a slow motion pass with oncoming traffic.

I then realized that he wasn't even worth my time with only 140 hp. He continued to speed down the road (hopefully just in a hurry for something he was late for).

I guess in hindsight it really wasn't much of a come race me bro encounter, but, it initially felt that way when he was tailgating me.

Because weight reduction, bro.

Yeah, it's always the kids (mental and physical) who do the most "interesting" things - mostly EG hatches around here. I see people with 1 aftermarket bucket seat for the drivers but stock for the passengers. Then they get those 4 point or 5 point racing harness (5 points are illegal if memory serves right) to go with those tin foil roll cages.

I used to work at an industrial area and parked near the exit. For half a year, I drove a borrowed car. Not much happened. Then after I got my car, I had people stop and reverse their car to get another look at my car. Even had two people come out and take pictures. Soon after I got wheels and lowered my car, the rev'ing started. Kid in his automatic mazda 3, lowered, plastic dip wheels and some kind of cut out exhaust would open his cut out and race out of the parking lot, with his head turned looking towards my car. Then a older beat up civic, and then a lifted truck, and then sometimes two of them at a time. I knew when the kid in his mazda 3 worked because on days it was quiet, he didn't work. I would see him and his co-workers do this every time while leaving for lunch and then when coming back, and then again when they left work. Mazda 3 guy would downshift his automatic while coming to a stop like it was some kind of practice day at a track. He got a ticket one day. This pretty much happened 3-5 days a week for about a year. How do I know they were doing this towards me? I drove a borrowed car for three weeks and ZERO noise. And then I drove my car and the noise came back. And then on days I car-pooled silence.

Couple of days ago I am headed home on the highway in busy but well moving traffic when I look in my mirror and see this rapid expanding blue dot coming up. I was already doing about 15 over the limit (so was the rest of the traffic) so I knew the guy had to be flying. Well the dude gets up beside me, slows down and paces me in the passing lane. I have cruise on so my speed doesn't waver one single MPH. He never even so much as glances in my direction and after about 30 seconds just down shifts shoots ahead until he has just enough room, cuts in front of me, brake checks me and continues driving slower that the rest of the lane is going.
I put up with this for about 5 minutes and finally said "screw this", went around him and pulled back into the lane ahead of him moving about 15 mph faster than he was. As soon as I hit cruise he was downshifting and passing me. Once again without even a head turn. The exact same scenario played out once more before he apparently got bored of my love of cruise control and not going to jail and he took off never to be seen again. Through the whole thing he never even appeared to know I was there and did not look in my direction even once.
Damned BRZ drivers!!!!!!

(More seriously. If you are on here Bruuuh trade for a freakn' Mustang and stop giving us a bad rep. That shit was stupid and did not impress me for one second)

Hey now! I was just trying to see what the Lava FRS's were about. Apparently Team Lava is lame, and everyone should get a BRZ
