I'm not sure what exactly you want for me to comment on but I'll do my best. Splitters get damaged easily since they are so far forward and our cars are low from the factory. Carbon fiber is extremely brittle and will shatter/break as shown. I would switch to use cables like @Gunman suggests to allow the splitter to move around a little. but then I personally think cables look ugly, so that's up to you. As far as fixing the splitter cosmetically, it's only a matter of time before you accidentally hit it again and it'll be cracked somewhere else. I would try to fix it yourself so you can fix it later down the road. Their are some DIY Carbon Fiber clear coat fixes for Evo 8 rear spoilers that would be a good idea for the work involved.

Best way to make the cable stays look decent, is to use MS20668 ends, and somewhere I have the spec for the crimp adjuster, etc. Once done, they look a lot like a standard rod type stay.

Came up with an idea. What if I cut out the damaged area and carbon fiber wrap a washer. Put the washer in the damaged area and attach the new support rod.

It looks like just the clearcoat is damaged. Sand it with 180 wet and fill with a thin film of laminating epoxy. Allow the film to dry to a tack before applying more. Be sure to use a UV stable epoxy system.
