Oh and I'll gladly go without home internet over paying Comcast a cent.
Comcast doesn't even offer service in my area. All we can get is Planttel

I suppose that's better than Hughes where you'll pay more for the same speed with a terrible datacap?

Not saying that rural areas aren't significantly hindered, just saying it ain't paradise in most metropolitan areas, even the supposedly high tech 'cutting edge' ones.

And you can probably afford to buy a house, so you've got that going for you.

Edit: Actually a 4G cellular dataplan might even be better... I know my phone can pull 20Mbps.

I had a friend at school that had Hughes Net back at his house in SW GA and he hated it. The data cap was horrible, but I'm gonna rent an apartment in one of the larger cities near me. I don't plan on staying in one place too long, so renting is the way to go for now. Hopefully they'll offer something better than in the area

The paint on these cars is just thin. You can get it coated in paint protection or get a front film bra, but I personally just don't worry about it. In terms of resale value, people won't be willing to pay significantly more for better paint condition, and a few tiny paint chips don't bother me personally.

Well, I don't know which complex I'm wanting or even a house to rent, and I haven't done much research yet. I'm going to look into it further this weekend. Thanks for the link!

Yeah... The paint does suck though, at least on my front bumper. The paint on a metal surface hasn't really chipped for me. Maybe the paint just can't adhere to whatever the material the front bumper is as well as it does to metal.

Surely you must have some dubmasses up there who consider the Canadian flag a symbol of racism, bigotry and homophobia.

I would go with paint protection film as said earlier. If you want to reduce scratches and chips on the front end and you're going to stick with original color on your car. I've a Always hesitated on this when purchasing a new vehicle and then regret it. My 15 WRX had crap paint as well. My RS has protection on hood and fenders , go figure nothing on front bumper. I am glad what is there is better than nothing at all.

Holding up fairly well here, nothing beyond what I would consider "normal" for a vehicle that takes hits from airborne junk moving at 60 mph or more.

Not all modern paint sucks. My wife has a 2014 Acura and her paint is flawless. My frs paint job is really bad. The problem is the front grill area which is fairly upright and catches a lot of crap. This winter I'm taking it to a good painter and have him do a proper job. There is no excuse for paint this bad.
