Look at my profile.
I have never seen an xD around here and only two Tcs. Now head toward Toronto and you may be tripping over Scions but the London to Windsor corridor is almost completely devoid of them.

I believe it's 8x1.25. Too lazy to search for you as I'm on my phone, but Google will tell you if you search "Scion FR-S automatic transmission thread" or something to that effect. That's how I found what it was.

You're lucky! I've seen them around back home in Montreal.

i like the way it came as is bone stock, given the price point. however, i wish there was an option to upgrade to the same steering wheel but with audio/bluetooth controls. most on here probably dont give a shit about that, but ive had it on the past 4 cars of mine and it is a super convenient feature on a daily driver.

plus my 60 mile roundtrip to work each day isn't a race track, but instead the parking lot of the socal freeways. when im not racing the guy in the next lane to see who can get to 5mph first and back to 0mph, i enjoy listening to my stereo and answering phone calls if needed.

I agree here. I miss steering wheel controls. The car is positioned well enough that they're not too necessary but I do miss the layout of my 2012 Civic.

I actually liked how the car came from the factory. Sure there are something's that I feel like a improved on, but overall not too many complaints. This car is meant to be a cheap sports car.

If you read through the random list of likes and dislikes of this single thread, you start to get an appreciation for the task of matching a new car product to a matching market.

Me, I bought the car because I liked the overall package as it was designed. No mods needed to meet my requirements.

The only thing that I would say is a "must" from the factory is the clutch catches way too high up.No car that I've ever owned had the engagement point so high.

I would've also liked to have my shocks just a slight touch softer.

I think one that 100% of everybody has to agree on is the missing armrest/cover. Paying $200 extra for something that has zero reason for not being there is just not right. Whoever decided to not have that in there stock deserves a smack.

I don't think I've ever had my arms close enough to the cupholders for it to be an issue for me.

Not so much as a reason to rest your arm but just because it looks unfinished. Don't you put anything in the center console at all...receipts, change, tire gauge, etc? It looks like garbage sitting in there out in the open. It's pretty much the same as having a glovebox with no cover, no gas filler cover, or no floor mats. It just doesn't make sense.

Not a big fan of the red accented seats, the lack of factory HID's, and the fugly wheels. All of that is easily fixed in the aftermarket. Ultimately every car has some compromises because of the accounting department and I'm sure the FR-S' headlights and climate control are all part of that.

Huge fan of the vehicle in stock form, im changing over to the series 1.0/monogram headlight. Love the lack of steering wheel controls, and the simplicity of the interior. For me it's the perfect blend of old and new. Other cosmetics will be black wheels and red calipers. It's enough power on twisties but will do a header and tune just because I can.

My last car was a '98 Nissan 200 SX that I drove for over three years. It didn't have a center arm rest either,so I'm kind of use to it,but the problem isn't that the FR-S doesn't have one,but how much it actually costs.Hell, for that matter, everything aftermarket for this car is ridiculously over priced!

Tow hooks going for as much as $150 a piece, shark fin antennas for $115,$100 for eyelids,$350 for foglights, and all of this is just cosmetics (except for the tow hooks)! Haven't even gotten to anything performance related!

You could EASILY blow another two grand on cosmetics before you even touched anything under the hood.
