Looks like we both have a few more days left waiting for the coating.

Staph trying to copy me.. First you have a white twin, then you get black coated headers, What next?

Well to be honest I've had coated headers for months but am upgrading to JDL, so you lose.

Oh and mine is a 2014.

i ordered this part without a coating. should i heat wrap it? or should i heat shield just oil pan? will it even affect my oil pan or anything? i also have perrin 2.75'' CAI, nameless combo pipe 2.5'' and perrin catback 3.0'' will this throw CEL? do i need a tune to run all of this? what about for autox? this is my first sportscar and am still kind of new to all this modding. these questions come from a lot of reading that i have done over the past few weeks about this and i either cant remember or didnt find answers to these questions. help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Which part did you order...?

If you are replacing your header a tune is highly recommended. And if you start flowing enough air through the engine a CEL typically comes up for things related to the catalytic converter. You'll see a nice power difference from the tune especially with a header.

yes UEL header is what i meant to say. if i go without tune for a little while will it damage anything? if i autocrossed it untuned? im regretting buying an automatic and am looking to trade mine for a manual. wondering if i can go without tune so i can just swap back all the oem parts when i switch vehicles or would i also be able to do that with a tune anyways? (im thinking thats not likely possible?)
