The saleman basically just didn't want to listen to his customer. 0 point for Steven's Creek Scion.

I, then, went to quite a few dealers in the Bay Area. The experiences from most of those dealers were somewhat similar to Steven’s Creek. Some were a little bit better, and some were even worse except Fremont. Their Internet sale manager, Kris Mang, remembered my name from day one. He kept me well informed. Whenever he got new information about the FR-S, he would contact me. I ended up putting my deposit them. Over the time period, Kris kept me updated. He let me know my vin#, ETA date, etc. Fast forward to yesterday, Kris told me my car would be available to pick up next Thursday. Cannot wait!

Agreed, stopped by stevens creek scion just to see if they had an estimate on when their demo car would be there. Had zero information, and tried to get me to buy a TC.

Obviously didn't care what I wanted. Screw that place. I wouldn't even go to the trouble of throwing a rock in their direction now.

dealerships all over that bay are starting to get their cars in already

if you're on top on your dealer's list, then you should get the car this week.

Car is at the port of SF and is currently being held there. Dealer said it could be released anytime in the next week or 2. They also have a White AT that's been there for 10 days already, and was still there yesterday when we talked. I think Toyota is holding cars for the official launch since dealers were selling early. Or there is some legal paperwork issue that they need to fix. My guess is that they were not supposed to be selling the car until June 1st or later, so they're forcing everyone to wait.

Either way it's only a week or two at this point until I get to drive mine home.

I also know that Steven's Creek Scion will have all of their cars (already sold) on June 9th and are having a big launch thing for it. So you can likely swing by there to congratulate the new owners on their new cars. Don't be too mean about the added audio they were forced to buy.

No clue then. My dealer said that my car is at port, and their first FRS has been at port (and still is) for 11 days now. He's not sure why they are still at port, but is hoping to get me my car within 2 weeks.

My dealer has actually posted in this thread. TJatOneToyota. He hasn't been on since then, but I snatched the Argento he had listed in their incoming. They were getting 4 cars total. 2 Black, one white AT, and this Argento MT that I put money down on. Not sure if any of those cars arrived at the dealership yet.
