Recorded the whole sound for the movies Tommy and Jesus Christ Superstar on 8 track once. Mono record player (not turntable, there is a difference), microphone to recordable 8 track tape. Now there is some high quality sound for you!
At least being rock operas they both could very easily be listened to without watching.

I firmly placed Jurrasic World #2 in the franchise behind the original.

It was no masterpiece but far and away better than either of the other sequels.

ALright thank me later:

Mud
Edge of tomorrow(live die repeat)
Jack Reacher
Need for Speed (the begining is crap but keeps getting better and better, plus if you played the original video game on Sega Saturn...)
Interstellar

Interstellar is ranked as my #1 movie off all time after watching it in true IMAX. What an experience.

Recent movies I've really enjoyed:

Ex Machina
Mad Max
Spy

Also Focus was pretty entertaining. Jordan Belfort's wife is just too sexy.

Watched Nightcrawler last night...it's an excellent movie. engrossing, twisted and brilliantly acted. John wick is a great flick too. Keanu is relentless and the action scenes are very well choreographed.

Based on this I have just finished watching John Wick. I hadn't heard of this movie before. Yeah, it was good fun. It reminded me a little of "Leon:The Professional". Leon is getting on a bit now (1994) but still worth a watch.

Why are you guys suggesting visual heavy action movies when all he can do is listen?

Explosions sound like shit unless you're looking at an explosion.

Here's my guess at what a fast and furious movie *sounds like* because I haven't watched past the 3rd one:

*vroom*
*tire squel*
*engine rev*
*bad guy says bad things*
"Yo Dom we never gonna ___"
*thinking face*
*smiles at camera*
*more car noises*
*explosions*

If he is only listening and purely for listening... perhaps this on repeat: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvXO1hUQtbk"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvXO1hUQtbk[/ame]

It's a commercial but probably the best sounding commercial I've ever heard

And I suppose relating back to what OP actually wants:
