Good movie recommendations?

What about a Netflix/Theater/Youtube...etc thread on movies you guys have seen and would like to recommend?

I usually buy some movies online, d/o them on tablet and plug it in to my twin on 2hr+ drives. I just listen to 'em. Fav ones are Friday 1-3, Meet the Parents and Dumb and Dumber.

If bored, I gotta recommend:
Terminator Genisys 8/10
Troll Hunters 9/10
Donner Pass 6/10

Wait a sec. You just listen to movies?

Chappie is one of my favorite recent movies.
Likely to obtain cult following status.

Jurassic World was OK, but not up to the original in my opinion. Saw it in 3D which was a waste of money as there were no real dinosaur in your face moments.

i really liked Spy with Melissa McCarthy, she is so damn funny

Yes sir. Especially after I've seen em many times. Beats listening to Mexican gangster/Narco/Crazy...etc cr@p when hanging with my buds. Well, they are able to watch movies, I just listen to em driving. Its like a neutral common ground for us, because god forbid I put on some indie music with them, they go crazy with the complaints.

Podcasts? Like radio shows but on demand, there's some good comedy stuff out there.

I sympathize though, when I work I just run my Youtube "watch later" playlist in the background and listen to it, lots of lets plays and podcasts in my day.

I haven't seen it yet!

Neill Blomkamp though. OMG. He's making MY kind of science fiction. I think he's really revitalized the genre.

Recent films I've seen? MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT (Colin Firth, Emma Stone) was pretty cute, and I don't usually go in for modern romantic comedy, but it was a period piece, and just seemed a cut above the rest. BBC America's JOHNATHAN STRANGE AND MR NORRELL has been holding my attention the last few weeks. I've got no excuse, it's just FUN. :)

Sorry, I can't recommend movies knowing that you won't be seeing them :( BUT if you were going to watch a movie I would suggest Audition directed by Takashi Miike. It is sub-titled so you do need to see it unless you understand Japanese but not watching it would be missing the ummmm.... interesting parts. It is so messed up.
