Get an OpenFlashTablet (OFT) for $500. I'tll give you a tune for your header, will kill the CEL you'd get without it, and also you'll be able to run e85 for free (from e50-e95). This will put you well over 210ish WHP and 175ish WTQ. Then when you get your JR supercharger, sell your OFT for $400. That's $100 bucks net to get 50-60WHP / 40ish WTQ and all the kick ass other features that come with an OFT like data logging, digital gauges, alarms, G-Meter, and lots more. This is the way to go.
Agreed ^^

4.56 diff final drive is my favorite mod, but maybe not everyone's cup of tea. Gives car a bit more get up and go.

The OFT isn't the only tool in the box for doing flashing and logging. The Tactrix does as well. It's also much cheaper.

Yeah, but you really have to know what you're doing when flashing with the tactrix.
Anyone can just plug in the OFT.

fair; it was the "well over" part that surprised me.

^This. Also look up Ace header for this car. Third party dyno numbers show (including a tune) a 40+ hp increase at the wheels no joke.

+1 for the OFT or Tactrix OpenPort. Probably the only non-FI mod that you will actually be able to notice on the butt dyno.

It's not hard. If you're in the midwest I'll help you set it up. Hell, I'll help anyone set it up.

Tactrix might be cheaper but with all the extra features shiv has been adding lately its really hard to ignore the fact that the OFT really is one of (if not the best) bang for buck mod out there.

The recent addition of tire pressure and temp monitoring is simply awesome for track guys.

My only point is it's easy to really screw up with the tactrix.

It depends. I'd have to check the license of it. I don't recall off the top of my head if the zip includes a license.

We expect some people to use our maps without bothering to support our business in any way whatsoever. What we don't expect is seeing those people encourage others to do the same. Then again, it's our livelihood so we are going to be more sensitive about this than consumers I suppose.
