FWIHBT adding a bit of 2-stroke oil to your gas tank fixes dem crixes but don't quote me... please! Originally people were swapping out fuel pumps but that seemed to be a temporary fix.

1) There's nothing to retention as it's a spring tensioner (in other words you're clueless)


2) Belts don't squeak unless they slip. Adding grease makes them slip more. If you're serious and you're a tech, then I'm Abraham Lincoln...

I love that Benz grease. I even used it to re-lube my muffler bearing and it fixed my exhaust crickets also. But while I was doing it, I noticed that I need my cross drilled brake lines replaced.
