Crickets Fixed!
 
Ok so I had my car in at work today to put my new tires on and I thought Id try to fix the belt squeakyness and to much supprise I did!!

So what I did was took some of my Benz greese

and put a few small dabs on my belt and bam no more chirpping!! We will see how long it lasts but for now Im super happy!

EDIT: And for fucks sake.. if your belt is squeeking... that is NOT the fix. Tighten the damn thing.. jebus.

thats the only squeak I have and ya THAT is a fix for it my belt tension is correct but it still squeaks over tighten and it wears more looser and its worse, and ya could have had a different tittle didnt know that was a real thing thats how we refer to belt noises around here sorry lol

You DO NOT lubricate serpentine belts! Period, end of story. No belt dressing, no nothing on them.

ok if you say so :thumbup: always worked for a mercedes so im going to go with that, no I went to subaru and had them look at it (still under warr, and they retensioned it and it still squeaks) and guys im not some keyboard warrior im a tech and ill tell you from experiance that some things your told not to do work reallllllly well just sayin

From my google searching, it seems it's a bad idea... but it's your car and you can do whatever you want with it.
