Theyre not terribly heavy and theyre only one piece. And also fairly cheap/easy to fix.

Idk made sense in my head lol

Soooo they look good but theyre not really 3 piece and theyre cheap enough to not worry about them a whole terrible bunch and they're not godforsaken heavy either. I'd call that some form of middle ground.

i guess...

not knockin on your wheel choice. like i said, i think those are good looking wheels... but being that they're cast, straight replica of OZ's, those specs, and even the bolts are just for show, i just consider them "show wheels" thats all. regardless, post some pics once theyre on the car!

I hear ya and can easily see where you're coming from. No offense taken

Still not 100% on these but everything considered, it seems I could do worse for something to satisfy both goals in one set of wheels.

I ordered with FM Wheels and they are in constant contact with AG Wheels. I would call them and see when the next sets are coming in through AG. These weigh 23lbs per wheel for both offsets.

Avant Garde got a shipment in this week and are good in stock. All orders are made to fit and are drilled by Avant Garde.

What do you think the turn around would be at this point? Will you pm me what you're offering a staggered 18in set for? Shipped to Minneapolis.

Heavily considering it at the moment

What made your decision of not wanting to go staggered? And if you dont mind, what was your logic on the offsets? Im not doubting or criticising, Im just new to the art of sizing wheels heh

I wanted a slightly aggressive setup (little poke) which is why I went 18x9 +30 and 18x9+20. The lower the offset the more it will poke out from the hub(away from the car). I wanted more lip in the front because the 18x8.5 has a smaller lip than the 18x9. I also wanted a close to square setup with 225/40/18 all around. Not saying you can't do that with staggered wheels but if I was going staggered I would definitely go with a wider tire in the rear.

Good food for thought. I know how offset works but I don't fully understand what spec equals desirable fitment. I tried poking around on the fitment calculator but it seemed flawed. I've looked through countless pics in the directory and it's often hard to tell the difference in set ups with up to 10mm of difference.

I think I'm going to play it on the more conservative side with the offset so I can space it if I want/ need to.

Thanks again for all the feedback and I look forward to seeing them mounted

Careful with your Avant Gardes, if you damage the paint they won't send out paint codes for you to get it repaired at a wheel facility, you have to ship them back or buy a new wheel. Learned that the hard way about Avant Garde wheels...

If I got these I'd powder coat them but that is good info regardless.
