The key to making the ride look good will be lowering it. Stock height on that size will look funky. It sucks because the stock wheels look meh but I lowered the car down then ordered my Volks. In the end it was the right move.

With 9.5" wide wheels and a +43 offset, you're going to get some pretty significant poke front and rear on the stock suspension. It'll get a little better if you just do lowering springs, but you're really going to need to either go to coilovers or camber plates to get the negative camber needed up front for a flush look.

I'm probably going to go for a 18x8.5 +42 Im still looking into other setups.

Also, if anyone could recommend me great brands for UEL Headers planned for next year. I am a fan of the known WRX/STI Boxer rumble.

Thanks in advance!
I have those wheels in 18x9.5 +43. you will need aftermarket coilovers to clear on the inside.I have KWV3s installed on mine. I had to raise my fronts a bit as I was rubbing on the fenders on full lock, so I'm about 1.5" lowered now. They will also rub on the inside tire well a bit, but it's not problematic at all. I have 265/35r18 tires on these wheels, but if you go down to a 255, you'll have a bit more clearance while still having more than enough grip.

Here's some pics of mine if you're curious what it'll look like. The fitment is pretty good at this offset.

Here's my current setup. No rubbing yet either. 18x9.5 +40 all around with 255/35/18 tires. In order to make it work i had to get coilovers though. Regardless you'll want them to finish the look of your car and give you the clearance you need for wider wheels and tires.
