Wastegate Open/Close/Open

Delicious tuned - "Flash N Go" for 12 PSI

FBM turbo kit with Infamous Performance EBCS.

EBCS routed from the Turbo Compressor and ported back into the intake.

At WOT in 3rd gear my boost fluctuates between 12-14 PSI and you can audibly hear the Wastegate open and close repeatedly.

Any thoughts?

The wastegate opening and closing is usually supposed to be audible, especially for an open dump. Yours does seem very slow though, maybe duty cycle frequency is too low in the tune if other hardware is installed correctly. Default is 10hz for EcuTek. That sounds like 1hz lol. I personally prefer like the sound of 15hz which is what the wrx/sti's tend to be.

Just a double check, ebcs port 1 goes to intake pre-maf or atmosphere, port 2 goes to wastegate bottom port, port 3 to boost source. That's my hookup at least. There's more than one way to do it but I see that the most.

Talk with Mike and Bill. The tune is handling that boost controller.

Just update the name of the tune to "Flash N Go 12-14 PSI Tune". Where are you pulling your boost reference for the solenoid? Performance might improve if you pull it from the compressor housing or close to the compressor housing outlet versus the intake manifold where you are most likely pulling it from.

It was from the intake manifold, I tapped into the coupler at the outlet of the turbo. Same results.

That video is recorded from the outlet boost source

Why is the EBCS not routed to the external wastegate?

Your first post doesn't say it was routed to the wastegate at all. Was making sure it was, lol.

You can route it that way or how I have it, which is top port & bottom port of the wastegate to the EBCS, and the other line to the compressor outlet.

I have my intake pipe routed to a catch can and the other side is to the CCV, keeping the system closed. Other catch can is PCV.
