(And yes, I already have an oil cooler. lol)
The weather ended up far from 110 F (ranging from the low 70's to high 80's) here at Sonoma Raceway, but the car ran very well!

This track day was also another shakedown due to a host of new parts to the driver and/or vehicle:
  • WORKS/Ohlins Road & Tracks (60N/mm front, 70N/mm rear)
  • Volk CE28Ns (17x9 +43)
  • Toyo R888 (255/40). We didn't notice any tire rubbing which we thought we would! These R888s are large 255s.
  • Subaru STi front and rear calipers with Endless brake pads
  • APR front canards
  • Complete SuperPro suspension bushings, sway bars, and rear lower control arms

We're looking forward to the next one!

Price increase will be announced when we create the commercial threads for the CARB compliant versions of Stage 1 and 2.

Our standard (non-CARB compliant) turbo kits will now be "tuner kits", that is to say, tune-it-yourself turbo kits that do not include ECU tuning.

The CARB compliant kits will include a locked tune file provided by us, which is required by CARB. We are still deciding which tuning platform to use with the CARB compliant kits, but OFT is unfortunately off the table.

Cheers.

That is rather unfortunate. That was also another reason why I was wanting this kit since I already have an OFT. *Bummed out*

If so do you have any plans to sell the intercooler upgrade as a small kit?

I have an oft and an oil cooler and like the idea of an upgrade path.

Thanks!
We do not have plans to sell individual components from our kits, but we do offer an upgrade kit to turn a Stage 1 to a Stage 2.

PM sent regarding upgrade price.

Cheers.

It's carb legal if that's what you're asking?

Correct.

Under CARB Executive Order D-748, our CARB compliant Stage 1 and Stage 2 Turbo Kits do not violate any Vehicle Codes for 2013 through 2016 model year Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S vehicles.

I am thinking of getting the perrin cold air intake. i was wondering would it be good enough for this stage 2 turbo kit, or will it compatible with the kit itself.

It was designed for the stock intake. Any aftermarket would likely cause a lot of modification to the piping. I would suggest keeping the stock intake, especially if you plan on using their tune.

Shouldn't be much modification since the Perrin pipe fits where the stock box does and connects to the intake tube the same.

Any intake that exits at the same location as the stock airbox (e.g. both Perrin intakes) will be compatible with the kit without needing any modification (there might be some exceptions.)

Source: using the 3" Perrin intake with this kit.

The Perrin intake is outside the engine bay, so I guess it will work right? Because I am thinking of getting that and then later on I'll get the stage 2 turbo from the works.
