OK so now you said sorry for apologizing. Your honourary Canadian card is in the mail.

Now if the OP comes on as a douche that is a different matter.

Oh dude you have no idea!
Although I like to play the fool I do not suffer real fools well and there have been a few new guys here that wanted to assert their dominance in their first thread. It wasn't always pretty.

lol... First thing I knew about the FR-S was that "It was slow." Tell your friends and future FR-S owners to read up on it's history.

Never judge a book by it's cover. Looks fast, is fast...but not a race car fast.

Still wouldn't trade it for a Corvette or Mustang. Only thing i'd trade for is a 2015 FR-S in whiteout... but no more 37J. ;(

Ironically a large percentage of those same people will never drive their car on a real racetrack....

There are probably less than 1% of the owners of this car that actually know it's limits in stock form.

I do remember there was a guy who thought you were around my age and basically said: "know your place because I'm older."

Then I simply chuckled...

Sorry for the long post, but to anyone who doesn't think this car is for you because those numbers aren't as impressive as you'd like, test drive it first. If I hadn't I would've made a huge mistake and bought a car that definitely wasn't for me.
Try to find someone with a tune, good header exhaust mods, and light small rim/tire combo. If you get a chance to drive that one; staying in 3rd gear, reliably, all day long, you will be left with an even greater grin. That is my greatest memory with this car.

Driving up the Caliente - Bodfish road here in town this weekend I cut a 2 hour drive down to an hour and a half because this car can handle so well.

With that being said, if I took that car above 60 on those roads I'd probably hurt myself. I think my average speed was 45 the whole way outside of some straight sections. It was an hour and a half of me and my car and I got to see where it shines.

The chances of anyone opening up an FR-S 100% for any extended period of time is very slim, and it gets even more slim the more horsepower you add. I love power, but I love driving well handling cars quickly around those sharp turns more than I love barreling down straights.

Next time I'll push it a bit more and see how much better I can handle the FR-S. It's like my own California Togue

That's why I love these kinds of roads. I get to stay in 3rd for the majority of the drive:
