Springs dangerous for car?
Bought the car used for around 30,000 miles with stock everything and with about 33k miles on it now im thinking about buying/installing springs however worried that it will be damaging the car's struts.

As long as you stick with springs made to work well with the stock struts you will be fine on this car. These are ones with drops less than an inch, and rates that are not too agressive. RCE yellows, Swift Sports, Eibach Pro-kit, RS*R down, TRD springs, and others.

IIRC RCE yellows were designed to work with the OEM struts. I have had them on my car for about 5000km and they haven't made so much as a squeak.

Maybe RCE yellows are made for stock .. but most often i hear them mentioned together with Koni shocks.

Lowering springs dont damage struts. If anything an improperly designed spring (outside the dampers critical damping zone) undersprung or oversprung will wear the damper down faster than the stock springs. No one has reported damage from just springs.

If you do springs, keep the drop modest (less than or equal to 1"). Check the spring rate, to make sure is appropriate for your drop level. As others have mentioned, RaceComp Engineering's Yellow springs have alot of happy customers for good reason. See the above criteria.

Keep in mind that most shock manufacturers suggest replacement around 50k miles, so even if the springs alone aren't damaging to the shocks, they might not last a ton longer.
I've personally got swift sport (frs rate) springs on stock shocks with 103k km's on them, with about 40k km's of those with the swift springs and they're still working great.
