I really want to get this so I can tow my Miata behind my FRS for autocross events and such. This is such a good deal too!

is the flange on the tomei fp that mates to the op 2.5 inch or 3? you might have a hell of a time trying to seal the two if they're different without using and modifying an adapter to bridge the pipe size difference. (this is why i'm happy the perrin 3 inch fp has a 2.5 inch flange to mate with the op)

tomei fp is 2.5" flange on the op side

2 flat gaskets. Been working for over a year of heavy tracking on my nameless header (3") to overpipe (2.5") connection without leaks. Not ideal, but definitely do-able.

yeah i've been looking into this for my other suby, it already has a cobb 3 inch catback that tapers to 2.5 inch at the downpipe connection. most 3 inch downpipes are full 3 inch so if i get something other than the cobb dp (which tapers down) i need to look into proper mating between the two.
