CONGRATULATIONS, Roto'sFRS on your purchase and ....... to .... The Forum.

Well, since you ask, I'd round up a co-pilot and head for Jasper NP in Alberta .... then follow the Rockies down until you run out of time or money.

Yes and no. I believe a shop will need to buy new shims to shim the diff/ring gear left to right. These shims are more specialized and I doubt he sell them, I got mine from Toyota. All other shims and parts he sells, including seals, bearings, gears, and spacer. If you're reusing your stock pumpkin, I'd reuse the bearings but still have a shop replace the three rubber seals. I'd recommend getting a solid spacer as well instead of the crush spacer. This also has to be shimmed, but will make your diff mor robust (this spacer sets preload between the two pinion bearings).

I would like to keep any exhaust upgrades in the mellow end of the sound spectrum. Best ways to stiffen up the chassis? Suspension?

What would you do with a $4K budget and a stock FRS?

Jeramie

Put it in the bank towards my next new car. My favorite car accessory is a tittle in my name; not the banks.

Failing that, I would use the money to drive the FRS to the airport and get on a plane to someplace nice.

I'd save the $4,000 and just enjoy the car as is for a while. You've had it for two weeks man!.

Plus that's a nice amount of extra money to have lying around in your pockets seeing as you just bought a car.

I'd probably buy a bike. Not going to bother with anything other than what I already have done to my car anymore since making the decision to get another motorcycle

$4k to spend...

Is the car paid off?
Cash or credit?
What are your priorities in life?
