Open Flash Question

Hey guys,

First off let me start off saying I am VERY new to this. Purchased one from another member and I still have yet to use it.

I really just have 2 questions :

1. Where do i download the software? I am unable to find it on their website. (windows)

2. Will this mess with my 10 series lighting on my FRS? (just reather look silly asking silly questions than regret it later on. )

Thanks a ton guys,
~den

Also i noticed the OFT was out of date after i flashed it, will updating the OFT make me lose my stock image? Or should i flash stock first, then update the OFT?

Updates will not erase your stock file. That will always be there until you Erase your OFT. And in order to do that, you will have to write the stock file back to your ECU. So it's really impossible for you to actually lose it

You can also download the stock image to your PC to make a backup (via the download tab in OFM) . also don't forget to update the template file. Its on the openflash download page and you upgrade it through OFM upgrade tab.
Also read Steve99 links, that guy is a OFT wizard.
