Can't drive the car and hoping to get in touch with Jackson Racing asap to get a replacement unit today or first thing tomorrow and fix this near the track. This will be fun. Love the kit and sticking with it. If anybody has information about a replacement unit or a shop nearby that can swap it or a mechanic who can stop by at the track and swap, please let me know, thanks!

Just spoke with Oscar Jr and I'll have the parts at the track first thing tomorrow morning. Enormous thumbs up for superb customer service! Now onto finding a mechanic who can help or I'll swap it on my own.

It's easy to swap snails, took me about 20 minutes to pull one out and left the piping.

Snail is out, easier than I thought, 3 bolts 2 sc oil hoses, 2 air hoses and wrenching on the belt tensioner pulley to loosen the belt and slide it out. Ready for the new unit, should be delivered to the track store by 10:30am tomorrow

I'll be a Lightning tomorrow, instructing and driving. I'll stop by, at least for moral support! We should be able to find whatever tools and know-how you need in the paddock.

That's very kind of you, thank you! My (red) car is in the garage on the left side of the building. Very kind person gave me access to a tool box in that garage with everything I need. Will find some loctite red for the three bolts and could use a little help to get the belt back on while squeezing the belt tensioner pulley. Already flushed all the sc fluid I could gravity bleed from the connections on top, will also try compressed air to get some more out. UPS says that parts are on their way

May the best fortune find Oscar Jr @Jackson Racing, @CSG Mike, NJMP General's Store manager, fellow BRZ owner who gave me a ride to lunch, another kind person who drove me back to the hotel, the toolbox owner, you and everyone else who helped out!

Is this whining sound normal? It goes away above 3000rpm and sounds like the typical SC whine after that.
Consistently makes the noise below 3k regardless of condition (cold, warmed up).
It didn't make this sound until today (used to be near silent).

Hey guys,
I'm at the ECU Calibration stage of my factory tune install. My USB key with the BIN file actually contains two BINs:
ZA1JA01C-BRZ-CARB-6B29BD.BIN
ZA1JD00C-BRZ-CARB-JR-15MT-6B29BD.BIN

Can anyone advise what the difference is between them? It's Saturday and Support is closed, and I've got to get this car ready for a tire-smokin' autocross tomorrow. Any advice or hints on what the "15MT" indicates in the file name would be appreciated.

15MT is for a 2015 with a manual transmission, not sure about the other.

Ah, that makes sense. I've got a 2014 model so it has to be the other one that I need. Thanks very much! You saved my day.

That would imply, then, that the 2015 MT is somehow unique vs the 12-14?

Can @Jackson Racing or @CSG Mike comment?

that being said this is my second day with the SC on so lol, just my observation. mike @ moto east didn't have time to put me on the dyno, so right now I'm running his base tune I'm presuming from another JRSC customer. told me to street log it which i have to learn how to do

P.S.: i also had the dual catch can radium setup installed
Had a similar experience (accelerating from a stop felt terrible at anything other than minimal or WOT). Only had 8K miles on the car at time of install (JSRC with CARB tune). Turned out to be a MAF sensor issue. Not sure if it was dirty, or just not aligned just right, but car would bog every time i accelerated from a stop. Others kept insisting it was probably just "parasitic load", "bad gas", etc, but i knew something was wrong.

Once I pulled out the MAF sensor, sprayed it down with some MAF cleaner, and carefully re-installed, the car drove GREAT. It's a simple 10 minute thing to check for anyone experiencing this issue.
