So great to read all the positive comments on this kit.

Are boost leaks rare with superchargers? I got them occasionally in my Srt-4 and DSMs, but Ive never owned a supercharged car.

I think you can get them just the same, a loose clamp on a pipe is going to leak the same as any other loose clamp on a pipe.

The cause is identical, but typically you're not seeing as much pressure, so the chances are somewhat (perhaps marginally) lower.

We use assembly lube when assembling customer Jackson Racing kits to help ease positioning of all the charge pipes, and due to the length of each connector and the overlap, we've yet to see anyone blowing off charge pipes, even with a lubed up hose.

I can't really speak for the other kits, but I do know the Innovate/Sprintex/Cosworth/Edlebrock won't blow off charge pipes; they don't have any. A leak at the manifold level is unlikely. I've not really seen Vortechs blowing of charge pipes either.

I am still loving my JR kit! Took it to the track night in America, and people were blown away with how quick the car is. I have the carb tune and a cat back. Let's just say I never had to point anyone by! Very usable power.

Still will not start. Forgive the awful sound effect but it has the slow vrrr, vrrr of the engine trying to turn but does not fire. Will remove the front bumper and check intercooler piping Sun. Again showed no symptoms prior to dying just cut off immediately after a right turn in 2nd partial throttle. I know I haven't checked all recommend sources yet but if this narrows it down for anyone I'd be grateful for any more input. Also I can push the lower ic piping thru the grill and they "feel" tight but can't thoroughly check them yet. Thanks again for all they help. This is a great community of car enthusiasts
Did you get your car straightened out? I know when I was working under the hood at one point I removed the maf sensor plug and thought I plugged it back in. Car ran fine for a week before it just died on me. Turns out I didn't 'quite' have the plug all the way in to where it snapped in place and eventually vibrated itself out. No maf signal = no running.

At NJMP Lightning today, first session, JRSC died. Not a problem with the kit, must be from a while back when I had a small leak from the SC cooler connection, some accelerated wear must have happened. Whine has been getting louder, slowly but surely. Can't drive the car and hoping to get in touch with Jackson Racing asap to get a replacement unit today or first thing tomorrow and fix this near the track. This will be fun. Love the kit and sticking with it. If anybody has information about a replacement unit or a shop nearby that can swap it or a mechanic who can stop by at the track and swap, please let me know, thanks!
