@wparsons do you have a video feed to a tablet or phone setup? My brother and I are building a DJI F450 and have a GoPro brushless gimbal setup installed, but we're thinking it'll be easier to shoot with a video feed to a display. Not sure if it'll hurt weight at all, but wanted to know how you found shooting with/without a feed installed. :P

Ultra micro ones are cheap (I actually have that mustang too!), but the bigger they get the more expensive they are.

The phantom 3 has "lightbridge" built in, which streams video down to a phone/tablet running the DJI pilot app in 720p. I'd never be able to follow the track without a chase car or onboard view.

You'll definitely want some sort of video downlink if you want to get good footage, otherwise it's nearly impossible to get things in frame consistently.

I might some stuff for sale that could help you... on my old quad I have a video transmitter and cable for a GoPro (charges it and streams video down). That quad is being retired and sold and I could easily take off the video transmitter and cable. It's a 600mw Immersion RC transmitter, and generic cheap cable (works great though).
