Turn key. Drive.
Been storing classic cars over the winter for over 20 years and my storage prep consist of nothing more than turning off the key. Seems to work just fine. Modern fuels with ethanol don't last worth a damn. Where I used to store my classics on a full tank to prevent water condensation, I now store close to empty so I have room for fresh fuel in the spring. You said you run 94, so it might be booze free fuel. That a good thing. If there is a fuel drain on the car, I would be tempted only because I don't know enough about the direct injection hardware critical pointsto say if it might be an issue. As to being outside, whats the big deal? Mine sits outside all the time in all weather. Does moving it on a daily basis make some kind of difference? |
