I would think some of the fuel components would destabilise after that long. I'm sure that's why gas stabiliser is available. Call Toyota

Just drive nice on that tank of gas until you get some new fuel in it. Did you put any fuel stabilizer in it before it sat for a year?

I would siphon out the gas and replace it with new one. I don't trust adding more chemicals to something that's already sensitive.

But if you put stabilizer before it sat then you should be ok.

Basically this. And be kind to it for a few tanks.

Although I've heard tons of stories of people starting up cars after decades and it being ok. So do what you think is right.

Yeah I'm planning to be very gentle with it for the next few fill ups... Other than an oil change, everything else should be fine?

Other fluids, filters...etc?

Wouldn't hurt to do an entire fluid flush, and it would only take you an afternoon and a few hundred dollars to do

Was it stored in a garage or outside?

Also prime your engine before you start her up. Crank it with gas pedal WOT - no spark but will build oil pressure and start to lube things up.
