"would you buy this kit again?"
Absolutely. The only real hangup with this kit is the belt. It's fussy. I'd rather deal with one bolt and a fussy belt than some of the issues on other FI kits. Fussing with one bolt every once and a while is worth the ridiculous amount of speed this kit adds. |

Yeah but they just did that huge group buy and no different than the BRZ/FR-S kit, packaging and making sure people get the right parts the first time is not their strong suit, so I could see them still focusing on the "somewhat new" or "newer than the original low side mount" S2k Kraftwerks kit.

Same here. BTW: Anyone experience that the air in-tube becoming noisy like a high pitch whistle. I'm pretty sure it's the in-take tube, because it was able to trace it the when I cleaned my air filter. The pitch is coming from the in-take tube with or without the filter.

I helped a little bit on "testing" some pulley setups, running pulleys daily that they didnt put out for the regular customers, like the 19psi pulley i was running, In the beginning i went through 2 belts, the first i didnt have tight enough and it had belt slap on the lower mount, the second broke because of the smaller old pulley set up, we found out gates didnt recommend that small of a pulley, once we got the new pulleys, i went 12k with zero issues and over 450hp. i updated some pulleys, smooth to toothed pulleys and when we did the belt was over tightened and snapped. my friend did it while i was installing a kit. I knew it was to tight but it was late and i figured it loosen it the next day. it had a very loud whine, the next day didnt come and the belt snapped. he tighten it like a serpentine belt and made it way to tight. my laziness caused that breakage, if i would've loosened it it would still be here today
So ive been asked locally what i think of the kit. I tell them all i would buy it again. i have no regrets. For me the kit works, it was the power delivery i wanted, more power then i ever thought id get. And while i love sitting and playing around with some high powered Turbo cars around here. i know for sure no doubt id get this kit all over again. maybe not the 19psi pulley i had, but i dont have no issue with this kit. I am 1000% happy with my purchase. Ive been trying to get the owner to pick one up for the shop FRS. -Thomas |

As far as F/I is concerned this is my only experience on this car in particular. Having many other projects in the past I would say that this kit is one of the best I have had to install and the power delivery is exactly what I was looking for. My only gripe thus far would be the finicky belt tension issue, which I'm pleased to say I have finally found the "sweet spot" and thus far no issues.

I would assume a part out will net you more return on your money than selling a modified car as a whole. Never been through it myself

I would buy my kit again on the account that I've had 0 issues for over 10,000km on this kit. No broken belts, no warranty claims, nothing. I am happy with the power right now and can't wait to get a custom tune done after my Tomei EL header, over pipe and 80R exhaust get put on.
If I had a clean slate I might consider a turbo kit, but for superchargers I can't say anything bad about KW in my experience. This is my first time doing an aftermarket FI modification, and the KW kit definitely hasn't done anything to turn me off from doing it again for future projects, if any. CARB approval doesn't apply to me, so this has been a plug and play project with no stress at all. Last edited by wahsaihin; 06-25-2015 at 12:25 PM. |

Seems to me that there are a few individuals here trolling and giving out some false information.
We have not abandoned this community nor do we neglect the customers looking to purchase or who are asking for support on an existing purchase. Each inquiry, so long as it is placed through the proper channel, is answered in a timely manner. To help clear up the lines of communication, the following are ways to get into contact with our company: Phone: General Customer Service + Sales → 951-808-9888 Warranty / Technical Assistance → 951-808-9888; Ext. 208 (CJ) Email: General Sales → Sales@KraftWerksUSA.com General Support → Support@KraftWerksUSA.com Warranty / Technical → CJWeidl@Group-A-Eng.com You also can PM us here as we receive notifications for this and will respond in a timely manner. Simply tagging us will not always show the proper notification on our end via email and may get over-looked. If you have any questions regarding the product, sales, where to buy, installation assistance, warranty, etc. please reach out to us by phone or email so we can assist in a timely manner and get whatever may be going on, resolved. General product information and methods of ordering are available directly on our website: KraftWerksUSA Website Should you have questions about stock, product upgrades, revisions, etc. reach out to us using one of the channels mentioned above. With that said... one of the most notable discussion topics is that of the C.A.R.B. approval on the kit. Simply put, it has taken far longer than we ever thought or hoped the process would take. It has been quite some time since we've attempted to have any product approved for California use and although we supply mainly to customers outside of the state, we have decided to invest the time and money into achieving the approval for this particular kit as well as others in the future. As of today, June 24th, 2015, the information from the testing has been submitted to C.A.R.B. and we are awaiting their approval. We anticipate having an EO number within 6-8 weeks. It is only then we can formally announce that we are approved publicly. Communication and CARB aside, there is another topic that is surfacing lately being that Rotrex does not approve of a cogged pulley option. In response to that, we leave you all with these: Quote:
