using that other onboard calculator that goes up and down depending on how hard you push the pedal.

I've been averaging around 29mpg with hills, inclines, start/stop, and highway driving. Then again, I've only gone over 4k RPM a few times and by accident! I promise.
I get 127 mpg on the same calculator

Now let's see you guys maintain that mileage steady for one week!
These car will skyrocket in value if you do.

I've noticed that the instantaneous MPG display maxes out at 127. Lazy engineers must have used a signed 8-bit integer to store the value. Which makes no sense since you can't get negative gas mileage. Anyone who brings up driving in reverse gets the riding crop.

You do realize that there will now be a long line of people bringing up driving in reverse right?
Surprised Lucid isn't here already.

Uggmmmm... I drove in reverse all the way to work this morning and my tank overflowed...

Where do I report for my flogging?

Most impressive! Violating the laws of thermodynamics definitely means you deserve a reward...

Before I tell you where to report to, I have to give you the disclaimer that since I am not a Domme I will not be the one doing the actual flogging. But I'll be there to watch for sure!

Too lazy to read all the pages of this thing...can't recall if I've commented in the past.

My car 2015 FRS man trans. with currently 21,826 miles, now 11 months old.

Have never checked mileage myself with a calculator.

Took a trip this summer from here (northern Calif.) to western New York State. Returned two months later to northern Calif. Each trip was about 3000 miles.

Driving east trip computer said 33.2 mpg for that 3000 miles.

I drove about 1800 miles within western NYS whilst there. Never reset the trip computer before my return to Calif..

Driving west, two months later, trip computer said 32.8 (after about 7800 miles total).

I typically drive 7 to 10 mph over any given speed limit. (Freeway/Turnpike limits along that trip vary from 65 to 80mph limits.)

The worst mileage...and that's very temporary...I've ever seen is 21mpg (in months past)....that after beating the piss out of the car on winding dirt roads in the 'Lost Coast' of Northern Calif. Just last weekend drove that area again, and now have a few pieces of metal under car to bend back in place...LOL. After that, and still not resetting computer, mpg reads 32.5

Best I have had was 35mpg driving on the freeway. My frs is my daily driver so I do a lot of city driving. Have had the car for about 2 months now and I am averaging 23 mpg.

Just this weekend, I drove to Tucson. 335 miles or so. Perhaps 140 miles of it were at 75+.

36.1. That's overall average for trip and return.

Best that I can do.

I got 38.6mpg on a whole tank. I was on a road trip to Mesa Verde in Colorado. I calculated it myself, not the dash. Auto with snow mode. (I figure this is the most economic shifting profile.)

Take mine to work sometimes - 80 mile commute, county roads at ~60mph, and if I fill up right when I get back to town, I've calculated as high as 41, otherwise it's closer to 38.
keep in mind I'm not having any fun doing it. Beats the crap out of my Grand Prix at 28.
