Here is my current setup with a Tomei UEL and 60s rest of the exhaust is still stock. I love the sound of it and it doesn't drone on the highway too much.

Just to chime in my two cents, any header with the Tomei Type 80 will be ridiculously loud and will probably land you a ticket for the noise. I've personally heard this in person and can confirm that it drones really bad, especially for high way cruising. Moreover, even with the silencer in, the drone is still extremely noticeable. With the windows down, the drone is still there but is drowned by the loudness of the exhaust. My recommendation is that if you're going to install a catless header, keep the stock front pipe, and invest in a quieter cat back-- it'll save your ears in the long run. =)

I've got a Q300 and stock midpipe on mine and will be installing the Tomei UEL this weekend.

If all goes well I'll post a video to illustrate how it sounds.

I'll be installing my Tomei UEL this weekend. I already have an overpipe and catless frontpipe, with a Tomei 80. I'll upload a video whenever I get it installed. Expecting it to be deafening.
