Just buy an FR-S RS1 and have the dealer put TRD wheels on it.

Well we won't see it in production outside Japan. It's confirmed for debut in Japan on 6/30. And it's just an update to the previous brz tS

Well as with other upper echelon JDM products, as soon as they start increasing the production and exporting past exclusive products out of Japan the quality usually begins to slip (they know you westerners are perfectly content with less than 95% QC, while domestically they can't fall below 98% QC for fears of their ninja population).

So I'm okay with exporting stuff out from Japan myself, I'll just save up more money to do so as I enjoy the quality.

I like it. It really pops. It's going to look awesome when it's lowered with some nice rims.

Maybe it's time to pick up another twin if the BRZ TS doesn't become available here in the U.S.

2) Keep in mind all the lighting is SMD LED's meaning lots and LOTS of soldering. It's not as simple as swapping bulbs anymore.
Yea in my Acura RSX I swapped SMD LEDs. It's pretty simple to swap the LEDs. Put some flux over the led, a bead of solder, and it takes it off clean. Use flux again to place new led and solder each end. It very simple. I have blue LEDs on my computer keyboard aswell and it doesn't blind me or make it any more difficult to see. Scientific evidence or not, I have no problem identifying numbers and words with blue LEDs. I guess others aren't as fortunate as I am.

Wow! IMO, a colour that makes the BRZ look like crap!
With a name like hyper blue I was expecting something that really popped, not.........that! Would anything look good in that colour? Probably not.
Maybe a jelly bean.....or a ju-jube.....or an M&M.
