PPF inside!

***UPDATE
We went through with it and wrapped the whole car in xpel stealth PPF. Removed all of the old film and removed as many parts off of the car as possible. Only thing I left was the headlights because I didn't want to remove the bumper and I knew I could tuck in the film in the edges around the light.

Finished pics

Pics of the process

Removing the film off of the hood

Prepping for a full wash and clay

Dried and ready for surface prep on sections that film will be installed

Hood piece going on

Edges trimmed and waiting for them to dry to wrap them over

Hood done and on to the next piece

Driver side quarter done

Different angle

Close up

Roof, door and fender done. Let them dry for the next day to trim

One side done

Front bumper and other side

Close up of door handle area

All done and going back together

So 3 days after taking it home, we decided to "wrap it up" as we say. Luckily this is what I do for a living so it didn't cost me anything. At first I was thinking of wrapping the whole car in matte-clear because this is an awesome color for it but the film wasn't available at the time and I wanted it protected asap so we decided normal film with the most protection possible.

The film used is Xpel Ultimate, everything is pre cut-out expect for the hood. We like doing hoods by hand because its faster and easier. List of parts protected (don't have a picture of everything):
-Full hood
-Full fenders
-Headlights
-Bumper
-Mirrors
-Rocker panel
-Lower door section
-Door edges
-Door handles
-A pillars
-Roof section
-Rear wheels arches ( behind rear wheels )
-Rear loading area

He says he does this for a living, so I assume he did all the labor and just paid wholesale cost of materials.

Indeed, this would have been very expensive if I would have paid someone to do it.

Car will be soon wrapped in clear matte film, either Xpel stealth or suntek matte

So did you end up doing the headlights?
When I bought my BRZ I went to a few places to get this done eh
most places said they couldn't do the side mirrors and didn't recommend the headlights?

^I have both my mirrors and headlights done. I cringed when the xpel ultimate was removed. I'd love to have my entire car covered.
