PPF inside!

***UPDATE
We went through with it and wrapped the whole car in xpel stealth PPF. Removed all of the old film and removed as many parts off of the car as possible. Only thing I left was the headlights because I didn't want to remove the bumper and I knew I could tuck in the film in the edges around the light.

So 3 days after taking it home, we decided to "wrap it up" as we say. Luckily this is what I do for a living so it didn't cost me anything. At first I was thinking of wrapping the whole car in matte-clear because this is an awesome color for it but the film wasn't available at the time and I wanted it protected asap so we decided normal film with the most protection possible.

The film used is Xpel Ultimate, everything is pre cut-out expect for the hood. We like doing hoods by hand because its faster and easier. List of parts protected (don't have a picture of everything):
-Full hood
-Full fenders
-Headlights
-Bumper
-Mirrors
-Rocker panel
-Lower door section
-Door edges
-Door handles
-A pillars
-Roof section
-Rear wheels arches ( behind rear wheels )
-Rear loading area

Looks like a nice old bug in the background! :)

Good lord, man! Did you make sure to get the whole interior done too?

Hamza7 02-17-2014 11:05 PM

That must have been expensive.

He says he does this for a living, so I assume he did all the labor and just paid wholesale cost of materials.

FRSKEV 02-18-2014 09:31 AM

Indeed, this would have been very expensive if I would have paid someone to do it.

cjsporl1996 02-18-2014 09:54 AM

Is it bullet proof :)

FRSKEV 08-27-2014 09:18 AM

Car will be soon wrapped in clear matte film, either Xpel stealth or suntek matte

Turbo95eg6 08-28-2014 01:21 AM

Can you take pics of process for removal?

It would be around $4k

BlueSky 06-08-2015 09:39 AM

So did you end up doing the headlights?
When I bought my BRZ I went to a few places to get this done eh
most places said they couldn't do the side mirrors and didn't recommend the headlights?

projek_01 06-08-2015 12:00 PM

^I have both my mirrors and headlights done. I cringed when the xpel ultimate was removed. I'd love to have my entire car covered.
