I saw this article on the super street site. A recent interview with the vice president of scion. he talks about the future of the Fr-s.

Well at least for a change of pace it would appear they actually talked to the guy. His answers though are the usual say loads of words with no real info attached to them double talk that theses guys are so good at. He was very clear that there are no planned performance changes or convertible though.
Let the speculation begin!

Oh god: "The FR-S will have a mid-cycle change. That's something we'll be talking about not for too long. It'll be mostly a cosmetic change, not a major performance change. It's a good visual change and everybody will be able to tell the difference."

The fun part is that I bet most of us here can tell the difference between the model years anyways (if stock).

Well, at least you can get the black rally stripes now, I might have considered that for mine (don't judge, I like stripes). Other than that, the only real difference was the price increase from what I bought 3 years ago.

I would need to stay away from the black stripes on mine.

Its actually darker blue, more like a cobalt blue. The Legacy has this blue also
